On August 9, 2014, the African community across New England will come 
together at the City Hall Plaza in Boston to celebrate African arts and 
culture at the 5th Annual African Festival of Boston.  The African 
Festival of Boston, a long-term endeavor, aims to unite, promote, 
educate and strengthen the African Diaspora in Massachusetts.

Each year the festival features multiple musical performances, cultural 
dances, African foods, vendors, children's games, arts, crafts, a health 
fair, a tourism fair, and a career fair.
