[act-ma] Oct. 28th- Tuesday - Boston Stands Up for Abortion Rights in Ireland

Hi All,

Socialist Alternative is going to be putting on a demonstration/rally on
October 28th at noon in front of the Irish Consulate as part of a
International Day of Action for the repeal of the 8th Amendment in Ireland,
which maintains the illegality of abortion in that country. October 28th is
the 2nd anniversary of the death of Savita Halappanavar, who died as a
result of complications of her pregnancy, which she has previously lobbied
to terminate, which would have probably saved her life.

Please join SA and allies in standing up for the right to choose for women
internationally. This can be an important message to the government of
Ireland that regular folks around the world will not stand for these
archaic restrictions that cost lives. As well, we can deliver a message to
politicians in the US that Boston will not tolerate continued attacks on
the rights of women!
