Protest against the Dalai Lama in Boston Oct 30 thru Nov 1.
The Dalai Lama’s whole organization was set up by the CIA against China.
The Dalai Lama supports all U.S. imperialist wars.
This is a call to action for anti-imperialist activists in the Boston area to conduct protest actions – it could be street protests or letter-writing campaigns or educational forums, etc. – against the Dalai Lama when he is in Boston this week.
The Dalai Lama's entire organization, and the Tibetan separatist movement and ideology, was set up by the CIA in the early 1960s and provided with millions of dollars of funding each year by the U.S. regime. Part of this funding was for military operations against China. The US regime has admitted this. You can see this on a declassified document on the U.S. State Department website: http://history.state.gov/historicaldocuments/frus1964-68v30/ The Dalai Lama's organization has admitted this. See http://www.nytimes.com/1998/10/02/world/world-news-briefs-dalai-lama-group-says-it-got-money-from-cia.html "The Dalai Lama's administration acknowledged today [Oct 2, 1998] that it received $1.7 million a year in the 1960s from the Central Intelligence Agency ... The money allocated for the resistance movement was spent on training volunteers and paying for guerilla operations against the Chinese".
Since 911, and since the U.S. genocidal invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, the Dalai Lama has said over and over again that he supports the U.S. and its allies invading other countries if it results in a good outcome. The Dalai Lama considers George W Bush to be his personal friend, and although the Dalai Lama says he does not agree with all Bush's political policies, he says he loves George W. Bush and considers Bush to be a very nice person. http://blog.chron.com/believeitornot/2012/04/dalai-lama-still-loves-george-bush/ After 911 the Dalai Lama apparently did ask his friend George W Bush not to go to war. But since the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq went ahead, the Dalai Lama’s consistent position has been, and is, that it is too early to tell if the U.S. wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were justified since we don’t yet know the outcome. The Dalai Lama uses a “just wars” theory that if he likes the outcome then it was ok to kill all those people. The Dalai Lama says the Korean War (U.S.-led invasion of Korea in the early 1950s) was justified. He says that the Vietnam War (U.S. invasion of Vietnam in the 1960s) had good intentions but did not result in a good outcome. The Dalai Lama has said all these things over and over again. If you do a web-search you will find this info on numerous sites. For a liberal pacifist Buddhist critique of the Dalai Lama’s current position supporting U.S. wars of aggression see http://www.dharmaenquiry.org/index.php/welcome/eng/lefthistory
One of the most clear and unequivocal anti-peace positions of the Dalai Lama is his support for the Korean War (the U.S. military invasion of Korea in the early 1950s). The Dalai Lama has stated this over and over again. The Dalai Lama even states it on his own 'Reality of War' page on his own website. http://www.dalailama.com/messages/world-peace/the-reality-of-war On his own website the Dalai Lama says, "In my view, the Korean War was also just, since it gave South Korea the chance of gradually developing democracy." This is exactly the opposite of what really happened. In reality the U.S. invasion of Korea killed four million Koreans. The U.S. military bombed and leveled every multi-story building in northern Korea. The U.S. military has been occupying the southern part of Korea since then. There are still tens of thousands of U.S. troops occupying the southern part of Korea today. The U.S. regime is currently threatening nuclear war against against Korea to conquer the remaining portion of free Korea. This year the U.S. military has conducted huge military drills simulating attacking the north of Korea. The regime governing the U.S.-occupied southern portion of Korea is violent and extremely oppressive of the people it is governing. It is not any model of democracy. It is very wrong for the Dalai Lama to support the U.S. war against Korea and military occupation of southern Korean.
The "Dalai Lama" is a CIA program, against China, against the world, and very successfully against the minds of Americans. According to the declassified document from 1964 on the State Department website the purpose of the CIA Tibetan Activity is to "keep the political concept of an autonomous Tibet alive within Tibet and among foreign nations". The document says that the CIA supported the establishment of the Tibet Houses in NYC and Geneva to "serve as unofficial representation for the Dalai Lama to maintain the concept of separate Tibetan political identity". Every week there are Americans out holding phony CIA "Tibetan flags" protesting against China instead of protesting against the US wars on Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya or Syria. The CIA PR campaign has convinced millions of Americans that the Dalai Lama is a nice guy. But he is not. If the Dalai Lama were for peace, he would be saying that the U.S. bombings, invasions and occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan are outrageous atrocities, not just neutral events in history that it is too early to evaluate. He would be telling us to protest against the wars. His followers would be protesting against wars and for peace instead of standing out protesting against China.
The Dalai Lama’s schedule is at http://www.dalailama.com/teachings/schedule The Dalai Lama will be speaking at the Wang Center on Thursday, October 30, 2014, from 9am til 3pm. He will be speaking on Friday October 31 from 9am-11:30am at the International Symposium for Contemplative Studies at the Boston Marriott Copley. Then from noon til 3:30pm still on Friday October 31 he will be speaking at MIT Kresge Auditorium. On Saturday November 1 the Dalai Lama will be speaking at the TD Garden from 9:30-11:30am. The Dalai Lama will also be in New York City on November 2, 3 & 4, and should be protested there as well.
Please protest against the Dalai Lama somehow. I will be outside the Dalai Lama's events with a sign, a Chinese flag and copies of a version of this flyer. If you want to work with me on this you can email me at davidrolde at comcast.net
