enslaved Africans in the USA.However, the process of emancipation in 
Latin America and the Caribbean was prolonged and tortuous, beginning in 
the late eighteenth century.Today, many descendants believe that Slavery 
Never Ended, It Just Evolved. Please join us to commemorate and 
celebrate. Bring your stories, artifacts, songs and instruments.*
