USM Boston organizer Halley Murray speaks to white anarchists on her
experience coming from an anarchist background now being a member of the
Uhuru Solidarity Movement, taking a principled stance as a white person
in solidarity with African Liberation by paying reparations. Her
eviction was proposed by an anarchist housemate who has since banned her
organizing in USM in her own home and she has received various other
slander for being in USM. In this political education study, Halley
comments on the push-back the Uhuru Movement for African Liberation has
received from the White Left since the 70s and reads her text “My
Journey From Anarchism To African Internationalism: White Solidarity
With Black Power” with commentary.
