In February, 350 immigrant leaders from all over the country went to 
Boston to participate in the launch of Un Dia Sin Inmigrantes. After 
hundreds of thousands of immigrants took the streets on May 1st, we’re 
ready to ring in the summer with regional gatherings to launch a season 
of national boycotts.

This summer, we enter the next phase in our struggle for permanent 
protection, dignity and respect. Over the next month, immigrant workers, 
parents, and youth will gather across the country for 3-day regional 
gatherings to launch a national boycott.Immigrants contribute billions 
of dollars every year to the economy, yet we are exploited and attacked. 
Corporations make billions of dollars from our consumption, yet some are 
the largest funders of the detention and deportation of our people.

This summer we will stop business as usual. We are going after 
corporations and businesses who thrive off the money of immigrants, but 
refuse to accept our presence in country. This summer, they will feel 
the power of our people.

En febrero de este año, 350 líderes inmigrantes de todo el país fueron a 
Boston para participar en el lanzamiento de Un Dia Sin Inmigrantes. 
Después de que cientos de miles de inmigrantes tomaron las calles el 1 
de mayo, estamos listos para comenzar el verano con reuniones regionales 
para iniciar una temporada de boicots nacionales.

Este verano, entramos en la siguiente fase de nuestra lucha por la 
protección permanente, la dignidad y el respeto. Durante el próximo mes,

inmigrantes aportan miles de millones de dólares cada año a la economía,

nuestro pueblo.
