I just wanted to send out one last reminder that *tomorrow* we are 
showing /A Day’s Work/, a hard-hitting documentary exploring how 
temporary employment is being used to strategically dismantle the 
relationship between employers and employees, with workers losing rights 
we have considered sacrosanct for decades.

is our latest effort to spread awareness of what the temporary 
employment economy is costing the working class. Just let me know if you

After the 55 minute film, we will be joined by A Day’s Work Executive 
Producer and a panel of experts to answer all the questions you may have 
about the film or how this new industry is changing employment as we

The Labor Resource Center <http://www.umb.edu/lrc> in partnership with 
Mass COSH <http://www.masscosh.org/> is pleased to present a showing of 
the thought-provoking documentary /A Day's Work/. The film examines the 
landmark workplace death of 21-year-old Lawrence DaQuan “Day” Davis. Day 
was an employee of a temporary staffing agency working at the Bacardi 
bottling plant in Jacksonville Florida in 2012. He was killed 90 minutes 
into the first day of the job. The film explores the troubling issues 
that led to Day's death and how the $100 billion temporary staffing 
industry is putting millions of workers at risk every day.

After the showing, the film's director David Desario will join 
representatives from the Labor Resource Center and MassCOSH for a 
question and answer and panel discussion on temp labor in Greater Boston 
and around the nation.
