Dear All,
Come to today’s Speak Out at 3 pm, to support Harvard workers threatened by
the Trump Administration’s policies!
Today at 3pm in front of the John Harvard statue in Harvard Yard in
Cambridge, workers, students and professors will gather to show our
strength and solidarity in opposition to Trump's targeting of unions,
immigrant residents with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred
Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), as well as Islamic and other
communities under attack.

Join us to send a message that union workers and immigrant and communities
of color are #HereToStay <https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/heretostay>!
TPS and DACA impact many of the same families. Often parents have TPS,
their children, DACA. Separating these issues eases tearing families apart
with deportations. Trump has also targeted Muslims with travel bans that
have subjected Islamic communities to discrimination and the same threats
to their residency. We are united against this destructive campaign of
intimidation and fear. We are one community.
In Solidarity,
Geoff Carens, Union Rep, Harvard Union of Clerical & Technical Workers
[personal capacity]
