Join us for an Eyewitness Account of Life in Cuba and Effects of US
Blockade!

Hear from the Boston Participants of the International May Day Work
Brigade, Judy Freiwirth, Aba Taylor, and Bob Mulcahy.

Also hear from Alvin Foster who recently participated in the
Anti-imperialist Solidarity Conference for Democracy and against
Neoliberalism which just ended in Cuba.

Learn about: the challenges for Cuba due to recent US policies (such as
Helms Burton Act and travel restrictions), the over 1 million-person May
Day march, the highly participatory new Cuban constitution referendum
process, significance of work brigades in Cuba, and other aspects of
Cuban life. Sponsored by the July 26th Boston-Cuba Solidarity Coalition
and co-sponsored by the First Baptist Jamaica Plain.
