THE JUSTICE SCHOOL FOR KIDS!
An exciting new program beginning September 2007
Do you want to:
- Help your kids develop self-confidence, explore their feelings, and learn
about
issues such as gender and race prejudice, conflict, violence, social justice,
and youth empowerment?
- See your kids have faith in themselves to make a difference in the world?
- Help grow a peace and justice community for young people?
- See kids have fun doing social justice and making new friends?
Then check out the Justice School, a new program for kids ages 7-14 beginning
on Sundays in September at the Community Church of Boston!
The Justice School is not focused on a particular religious faith, but rather
is a program to help young people have faith in themselves and their
communities as agents of positive change. The curriculum will explore social
movements, youth activism, a range of spiritualities, and will be fun and interesting
with art, skits, books, music and many social justice activist guests.
Justice School starts on Sunday September 9, 2007 from 11:00am-12:30pm, and
will run on Sundays from September through June.
The program is free of charge, and enrollment is now open. For more
information or to register your child, contact JooYoung Choi, Director, at
