[act-ma] 7/4 3rd Annual Anti-Imperialist Picnic (Wed.)

     The Tom Mooney/Western Mass Local of the Socialist Party of the  
United States of America is holding its third annual anti-imperialist  
picnic on Wednesday, July 4, from noon to four.  Please come and bring  
things to grill, side dishes, desserts and drinks. We will provide the  
charcoal, plates, cups and plastic ware.

     After the picnic, the Massachusetts Socialist Party will hold a  
brief meeting to elect delegates to the national convention, collect  
dues and discuss finances, and discuss our electoral activity for  
2008.  All Mass. members are urged to come to the picnic and  
participate in the state meeting afterward.

     The picnic will be held at the Mill River Recreation Area in  
North Amherst.  To get there, take North Pleasant Street north from  
the UMass campus straight on pass the second traffic light (Pine  
Street).  As the road forks, bear right onto Montague Road (Route 63).  
  .2 miles after the fork, on the right, you will see a sign for Mill  
River Recreation Area.  Turn right and park in the lot.  You should  
see us and our sign.
