U.S. Politics: Time for a Left Turn?

Is it time for a U-turn in American politics? Does the declining popularity
of the Bush gang, and Democratic control of Congress, mean that people are
finally seeing through the right wing lies, and ready
for real change?

Democratic Socialists of America is drafting an economic program that goes
beyond defending the status quo. DSA's "Economic Justice Agenda" is
designed to be a progressive program that is aggressive without being
"pie-in-the-sky", something to agitate and organize around in the coming
months as the Election looms - and hopefully after, once a Democratic
President takes office.

In the discussion meeting, DSA National Political Committee member David
Knuttunen will make a brief presentation of Economic Justice Agenda, with
plenty of time after for discussion and exchange of ideas.
Join us for light refreshments and good conversation.
