You are invited to join Massachusetts Peace Action, our local, statewide affiliate, at their Annual Meeting this weekend, where Peace Action members and friends will gather to build community, strengthen the power of the local peace movement, and discuss peace priorities for 2008. This year's Annual Meeting will feature great speakers with expertise on Iraq, Iran, nuclear weapons, and more. They will take us beyond the hype and the headlines to consider what's at stake in 2008... and what we can do to have an impact!
* Hear from Iraq Veterans Against the War about the upcoming Winter Soldier summit on Iraq and Afghanistan
* Learn about ways to stop U.S. plans to expand our nuclear arsenal and the global threat of nuclear weapons
