For the 13th consecutive year, Amnesty International Local Group 133 in
Somerville is organizing Get On The Bus (GOTB), a trip to New York City for
one full day of human rights action and education. GOTB is the largest
volunteer-organized Amnesty event in the US, and brought together over 1,200
participants last year from throughout the northeast!

We will demonstrate for the people of Darfur and Myanmar, to bring to
justice those responsible for the murders of journalists in Sri Lanka, for
the victims of the Union Carbide disaster in Bhopal, and to call for the
unconditional release of Libyan Prisoner of Conscience, Fathi el-Jahmi. Click

our actions.

Amnesty Group 133 has 5 buses scheduled to leave from Alewife Station in
Cambridge for Get On The Bus on April 11. Seats will be distributed on a
first-come, first-served basis. Bus fare and event registration is $40.
