In this dialogue coinciding with Women’s history month and the fifth
anniversary of the war on Iraq, you will sample Iraqi women’s knowledge,
struggle and humor face to face.

   Presented by Wafaa’ Al-Natheema and sponsored by the Institute of Near
   Eastern & African Studies (INEAS), an independent, tax-exempt,
   educational and cultural organization in Cambridge with support from
   the Cambridge Peace Commission

*Haifa Zangana *is an Iraqi activist, journalist and novelist, who
published many short novels in Arabic; some of which were translated to
English, French, Italian and Malayalam.  She writes for al-Quds, the
Guardian, Red Pepper and Al-Ahram Weekly.  She has been touring in North
America in promotion of her recently published book “City of Widows – An
Iraqi Women’s Account of War and Resistance.”  She resides in London.
