Hi folks,

Please read the forwarded message below first.

I'd like to propose an action for Wed. July 9. As many people as
possible meet at the back side of the Copley Square park at 2 PM. We
get as many people as possible to sign the enclosed letter in advance,
which is enclosed as both a Word document and a PDF. If you cannot
come, mail your signed copy to me at:

Nate Goldshlag
37 Ottawa Rd.
Arlington, MA 02476

Those letters would have to go out to me in the next few days to get
to me in time.

We will then take these letters as a group up to the Canadian
Consulate at 3 Copley Place Suite 400. Afterwards, we will hand out a
flyer in front of Copley Place for a while asking the public to send
this letter to Prime Minister Harper and Minister Diane Finley.

If you cannot get the signed letter to me in time, you can always go
to the web site that Adam references below and sign it online. More
paper letters are better, though, in my opinion.

Or, if you like, you can send the letters to the following:

Prime Minister Stephen Harper
80 Wellington Street
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0A2, CANADA
Fax: 613-941-6900
pm at pm.gc.ca

Minister of Citizenship & Immigration Diane Finley
Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1, CANADA
minister at cic.gc.ca

So who will join us on Wednesday 7/9 at 2 PM? Please publicize this
far and wide.

Peace,
Nate Goldshlag
Coordinator, Smedley D. Butler Brigade Veterans For Peace
