The Middle East in Crisis and the Socialist Alternative:

The US occupation of Iraq is only the most recent chapter in the century-long struggle for the control of Middle East oil. The Bush administration claims the "surge" is working, but Iraq is in shambles. The entire region is threatened by further violence and destabilization.

What will it take to stop US imperialism? Is there an alternative to the corporate domination of our world? Is a democratic socialist society realistic? Come to a discussion on these questions introduced by Ayisha Zaki from Beirut, and consider joining the struggle for a socialist future.

In Solidarity,
Bryan
