Her book includes many personal stories of life in the Boston-area antiwar

activism at the Unitrod factory and the General Dynamics shipyard;
membership in the feminist New Harmony Sisterhood Band; traveling to Cuba;
helping to build a solar house on Mission Hill; participation in the Central
America solidarity movement and helping build a health clinic in Esteli,
Nicaragua. It also describes her life in a New Age and progressive
community in western North Carolina. (For more information on the book,
published by iUniverse Inc. in 2008, go to http://www.radicalpassions.com. It
will be available for purchase at the event.)
Marcia Diehl and Deborah Silverstein, also former members of the New Harmony
Sisterhood Band, will join Kendall at the October 3 event and they will sing
several of the band's favorite songs.
