Economy in Crisis:
What's the Future for Workers and Youth?

Wednesday, December 17th, 7 PM

Thomas Crane Public Library
Main Meeting Room

40 Washington St.
Across from the Quincy Center T-stop

With increased budget cuts, record foreclosures, and staggering layoffs, working people are under attack. Hundreds of billions of dollars have been spent on war and bailouts for big business, but the government says they can't afford to give us good jobs and social services.

All across the country, voters demanded change after eight years of the Bush disaster. Still, the bailouts show that both parties seem to be bought off by the super rich. How can we get real change? What is the way forward for the labor movement, the anti-war movement and other social justice causes? What is the democratic socialist alternative? Come to this important discussion.

Speaker: Rob Mirabito, member of Carpenters Local 33 (speaking in a personal capacity). Rob is a Quincy Resident and activist for Socialist Alternative.
