*_Next NEU general meeting/January 17_*
**
The next general meeting of New England United is scheduled for
*January 17* in downtown Boston, 33 Harrison Avenue at Encuentro 5,
starting at 1:00 PM.
Discussion of the crisis in Gaza, and the international protests
including the protest in DC on January 10, will be a major focus of
the meeing. The meeting will also include discussion of the calls
for national action on March 21 in DC, and April 4 in NYC, as the
occupation of Iraq enters its seventh year.
NEU general meetings are open to all members of the New England
peace/antiwar community. We are a very democratic and inclusive
organization, and everyone who attends can speak and vote. This is
a critical year for the antiwar movement, and I hope many of you
will plan to attend our general meeting on January 17.
