has restored sight to close to 700,000 people from 30 countries and aims
to reach 6,000,000 blind people by 2015.
*Barrio Adentro* *(Inside the Neighborhood)**:** *A public health
initiative that provides preventive, primary, secondary and specialized
health care to millions of Venezuelan through a network of community
clinics located mostly in poor urban and rural communities. It is a
partnership between the Venezuelan Ministry of Health, the Cuban Medical
Mission in Venezuela, and the Pan American Health Organization.
