“On Equal Terms: Women in Construction 30 Years & Still Organizing” is a
remarkable exhibit celebrating the 30th anniversary of the federal policy
opening the construction industry to women. Susan Eisenberg, a local artist
and poet and one of the first women in the US to achieve journey-level
status as a union electrician, organized this exhibit, which includes
poetry, found materials, sculpture, audio, and photography.
“On Equal Terms” is at the Adams Gallery on the first floor of Suffolk
University Law School, 120 Tremont St., Boston (very close to the Park
Street subway station). It is free and open to the public from 9 am to 7
pm daily, including weekends.
