the faculty of Northeastern University, Daniel Faber has studied
environmental injustice and called attention to radical inequalities. In
2001, Faber found that “If you live in a community of color in
Massachusetts, for example, the chances are 19 times higher that you live in
one of the 25 most environmentally-burdened communities in the state.” He is
also an expert on corporate influence over public policy.
