DMZ / War Moratorium

July 3rd - First and Third Friday of Every Month
5:30PM until sundown
We meet at the intersection of Mass Ave and Boylston St in front of
the Bank of America
(near the Hynes Convention Center stop on the green line, also a short
walk from the Mass Ave stop on the Orange line).

Bring your musical instrument, or any other implements of political
art. We will bring signs to hold, stickers to hand out, flyers from
the War Resisters League on military spending in the Federal Budget,
and the Greater Boston Stop the Wars Coalition.

This is a great opportunity to engage the public, and get interested
new people involved! We will be telling people about our picnic on
July 4th and the National Assembly in Pittsburgh as well.

In a lopsided vote, the U.S. House of Representatives on May 14, 2009
approved the Obama administration's request for $97 billion for U.S.
military operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Palestinians
continue to suffer the devastating consequences of U.S. support to the
unending blockade of Gaza. Let's remind people that opposition to
these wars is still widespread! We can no longer afford to attack and
occupy other nations! We have a moral obligation to oppose this
domineering foreign policy! We must organize to win!

Sponsored by the Socialist Party of Boston, http://www.spboston.org/
Endorsed by the Greater Boston Stop the Wars Coalition, http://www.stopthewars.org/
