Hello,
A perfect workshop for localvores, Urban Sustainability enthusiasts,
back-to-the-landers, DIY foodies, and home economists alike! Ana
Micka visits the Jamaica Plain Forum with her new book and
accompanying DVD, “The Fresh Girl’s Guide to Easy Canning” to share
her tips for top-of-the-line food preservation. Ana will discuss
canning supplies, finding the best produce, how to use hot water and
pressure canners, and where to get the best canning recipes. She will
place a special emphasis on food safety and preparation with the help
of her colleague, Julie Ristau. Attached is a media alert about the
first forum hosted by the Jamaica Plain Forum. If you have any
questions, please feel free to let me know. Thank you
