The Honk! festival will bring hundreds of activist street musicians from across the county -- and the world -- to Somerville, Cambridge and Boston on October 9-11, and there are two ways to get involved this month!

(1) Honk! Parade Meeting
TODAY!   Thursday, September 10 from 7pm to 8:45pm
West Branch-Somerville Public Library, 40 College Avenue
Davis Square, Somerville, MA
For: groups and individuals already planning to be part of the Honk Parade (October 11 from noon to 2 p.m. from Davis Square to Harvard Square); groups and individuals who would like to be part of this parade but haven't yet committed; or anyone who would like to help or learn more!   http://www,honkfest.org

A cantastoria (picture performance) by members of the Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society Brass Band looking at the many joyful meanings of the sound of HONK!
