March and Rally for Jobs and a Real Economic Recovery
Thursday, October 1
October 1st is the one-year anniversary of the Wall Street bail out.  The government gave hundreds of billions of dollars to save the banks and insurance companies, but where are the jobs?
Hyatt's rooms are full, yet they replace their house keeping staff with sub contractors. Harvard has billions of dollars in its endowment, yet they want to cut the lowest paid workers, Verizon made billions in profits last year, but the company wants to reduce its workforce by 16,000 people!...and the list rolls on of working people facing layoffs and reductions in their hours while fat cat CEOs continue make their multi-million dollar salaries and bonuses.

Join the fight against a jobless recovery and for an economy that works for everyone. Thursday, October 1 4:00 PM Kickoff at the State House  4:30 PM March through Downtown and the Financial District 5:30 PM Rally at Federal Reserve Bank (600 Atlantic Ave, Boston) Motorcycle ride-ins to the rally are planned.
