      Washington and its imperialist allies are threatening Iran
with new sanctions over Tehran’s nuclear power program. Ominously, President
Obama has said he will use “all elements of American power” in pursuit of
Washington’s aim of denying Iran the right to develop nuclear technology.
Israel has threatened to take military action against Iranian nuclear
facilities.  Join a discussion on
the  need to oppose the growing threats
against Iran. 
  The event will also
feature a discussion of the importance of the fight for democratic rights in
Iran today. This fight can open political space for toilers in the cities and
countryside to create their own organizations and fight for their immediate and
historic interests. It is also the best defense against Washington’s threats
against Iran. This all takes place as the world economic crisis continues to
deepen, with a harsh impact on the conditions of workers and farmers from Iran
to the United States. 
 
   Join a
