Hi friends of Martin Luther King---I compiled this list of 3 MLK Day events happening in the Boston area on Mon. 1/18.

1.  Mon. 1/18---11:30am -12:15: Cambridge Peace Commission is organizing a vigil/standout for King on Mass. Ave. in front of Cambridge City Hall-there will be a cultural program after in St. Peters Church across the street.
 
2.   Mon.1/18--1pm Faneuil Hall, Boston: annual City Of Boston MLK observance--more info:

3.    Monday, January 18th, Martin Luther King Jr. Day--5pm Park St. T station-- Greater Boston Stop the Wars Coalition is demanding that the US government close Guantanamo Prison and abolish torture.
Witness Against Torture has called for twelve days of action during this
period: http://www.witnesstorture.org/2010/.
Bring signs,  and your outrage , wear orange -  join the contingent in orange jumpsuits at Park Street T Station, Boston, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.
