Boston City Councilor Chuck Turner was falsely accused of extortion  
because the powers-that-be wanted to remove him from office because  
of Chuck's brave and principled activism on many many progressive  
issues.

On Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at 2:30pm at the Moakley Federal  
Courthouse, Judge Woodlock will hear oral arguments by Chuck Turner’s  
lawyer and by Senator Diane Wilkerson’s lawyer regarding motions to  
dismiss and motions to sever the cases.

Please come witness the proceedings. The Moakley Federal Courthouse  
is at One Courthouse Way in South Boston. Take the Silver Line bus  
from South Station.  You need a picture ID to get into the court  
building. The hearing will start promptly at 2:30.

This might be the last hearing before trial which is tentatively  
scheduled for June 21.
