	* The bosses’ profit drive and attacks on our working
conditions caused the deaths of 29 miners in W. Virginia, 5 refinery workers in
Washington, and 11 oil workers in the Gulf of Mexico.

	* Why it will take a fighting union movement to halt the
mounting threats to life and limb in the mines, refineries, mills, and other
industries.
 
	* The solution is not just more legislation or more
inspections.  Safety is only guaranteed
if it’s in the hands of workers themselves.
