Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Washington Heights and the Bronx, NY, Frances Villar is many things - a mother of two, pre-med student at Lehman College and a tireless organizer. From forming a tenant association in her Bronx apartment building to organizing against education cuts in the CUNY system to struggling against racist police brutality - Frances Villar is a fighter. 

Frances will speak on a socialist perspective on elections and why we need a
revolutionary Party.

Join students, workers, activists and others on May 15 in Boston for the New England Regional Conference on Socialism hosted by the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

*  A showing of "Police Terror: The Murder of Kenny Lazo", an A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition film by Edward Pages. Kenny Lazo, a 24 year old father, was beaten to death by Suffolk County Police Officers on April 12th, 2008. This is the story of a community terrorized by those sworn to serve and protect.
