Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Washington Heights and the Bronx, NY, Frances Villar is many things - a mother of two, pre-med student at Lehman College and a tireless organizer. From forming a tenant association in her Bronx apartment building to organizing against education cuts in the CUNY system to struggling against racist police brutality - Frances Villar is a fighter.

Frances will speak on a socialist perspective on elections and why we need a
revolutionary Party.
