The Militant Labor Forum Presents:

DEFEND DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS!
 
Since 9/11 the capitalist class and their government in Washington have 
accelerated attacks on the rights of working people in the name of “fighting 
terrorism” - from increased wiretapping and invasive airport searches to 
renditions and targeted murders. 

 
The anti-Muslim atmosphere they have created in their “war on terrorism” fueled 
protests against a planned Islamic cultural center near Ground Zero in New York 
City. Working people should demand no government interference with the mosque. 

 
Democratic rights are protections against the capitalist state, at all levels, 
that working people have wrested from the propertied classes over decades of 
struggle.
 
Join a discussion on how working people can defend our rights as we carry out 
struggles for our economic and political demands.

¡DEFIENDA LAS DERECHAS DEMOCRÁTICAS!
 
La clase capitalista está atacando en las derechas de trabajadores en nombre de 
la “lucha contra el terrorismo”. 

 
El gobierno y la policía a nivel federal, estatal y local, bajo el abrigo del 
Departamento de Justicia y de las agencias de inteligencia del Departamento de 
Seguridad del Suelo Nativo, están actuando para minar las protecciones 
codificadas en la Carta de Derechos y otras enmiendas a la Constitución de 
Estados Unidos.
 
Estas son protecciones contra el estado capitalista, que el pueblo trabajador ha 
arrancado de las clases propietarias durante décadas de lucha. 

 
La clase obrera es la única fuerza capaz de defender estos derechos y 
protecciones, los cuales necesitamos para realizar luchas por nuestras 
reivindicaciones económicas y políticas.
