Dear John Harris and Stop the Wars Coalition,
I just received this announcement from Ford Hall Forum - a very unfortunate
circumstance. Condoleezza Rice still intends to keep her commitment earlier
in the day tomorrow, 11:30am-12:30 pm, at the Kennedy Library
(http://www.jfklibrary.org/Education+and+Public+Programs/Kennedy+Library+For
ums/), just in case folks are interested in showing up for that instead -
although judging from the website, that program is full. [I don't believe
Maria Stephanos of Fox is part of that program.]
Peace - and on behalf of Ford Hall Forum, our apologies. It would have been
great to have had your voices heard.

Subject: CANCELLED: Condoleezza Rice forum at FHF
It is with great regret that the Ford Hall Forum at Suffolk University is
canceling Thursday night's event, "An Extraordinary Upbringing," with Dr.
Condoleezza Rice. Dr. Rice's staff has just informed us that an unexpected
private matter has arisen, requiring her to fly back to California on
Thursday afternoon. No further details have been provided, although her
staff has assured us it is a decision they do not take lightly and sincerely
apologize for the inconvenience.
We hope to reschedule the program for a different date but have not received
a commitment to do so yet. We are truly sorry to disappoint the hundreds of
people planning to see Dr. Rice on the 28th at the Forum.
