**********forward widely!**************

*Revolution in the Air*:

Forums on the revival of resistance around the world, what it means for
radicals in the US, and building a left in an era of *revolution*
*
*
*Monday, May 2, UMass Boston and First Baptist Church, Jamaica Plain*

Revolution is in the air - the epic revolutions spreading throughout North
Africa and the Middle East have shown that masses of ordinary people can
take control over their own lives. And the heroic struggle of Wisconsin
workers to defend their unions have inspired people across the country to
fight for their own rights.

We need an alternative to the current system of austerity, war, and
profiteering - an alternative based on the interests of working people
instead of Wall Street. Come to this public forum & get involved with the
socialist movement!

Eric Ruder, writer for SocialistWorker.org, veteran activist and member of
the International Socialist Organization will be speaking. Following the
talk will be open discussion on the questions above and more.

 *Monday May 2*
*3pm at UMass Boston:* Point View Lounge, Campus Center, 3rd Floor (Take the
Red Line to JFK/UMASS)
*7pm in Jamaica Plain:* First Baptist Church, 633 Centre Street (Take the
Orange Line to Green St.)
