It's that time of the year, and once again Women in Black and Veterans for
Peace will be marching in the Old Hallowell Day Parade for the 10th year in row. Plus, this year is the 10th anniversary of the invasion of Afghanistan.
Just to remind everyone, when the Waterville-Winslow Bridges for Peace was prevented from marching in the Winslow 4th of July parade, they were invited to join us in the Old Hallowell Day parade. Hallowell welcomes everyone.
This year, the BRING OUR WAR $$$ HOME campaign has endorsed the march and is encouraging Maine peace
advocates to march on Saturday July 16.
The parade begins at 10:00 AM and marches through downtown Hallowell. Participants will gather outside the offices of Dr. Dustin Sulak, located at 47 Water Street #104 beginning
at 9:00 AM. Dr. Sulak's office is on the right prior to the railroad bridge overpass. Please bring banners and posters.
