For six decades, Cubans have suffered under a U.S. blockade that enjoys no
international support. In fact, last October the U.N. General Assembly
repudiated the blockade for the 20th time, with 187 countries condemning the
odious policy and only the United States and Israel standing by it.

Yet despite Washington's relentless efforts to crush it, the revolution has
