Subject: [Epic-members] Parole Board Reform Panel

Making Parole A Reality: A Panel on Massachusetts Parole Board Reform

Please join us for a
panel on the current state of parole in Massachusetts, and learn what
the community can do to promote reform of the Parole Board. The panel
will be on October 11th from 6-8pm at Northeastern University School of
Law, Dockser Hall, Room 240 (65 Forsyth Street, Boston, MA).
Refreshments will be served. 

 
Panelists will include:
 
    Patty Garin,
a partner in the law firm of Stern, Shapiro, Weissberg, & Garin.
Patty has been co-teaching the Prisoner's Rights Clinic at Northeastern
University School of Law for the past 18 years.

 
    Leslie Walker, the Executive Director of the Prisoners' Legal Services.
 
    Rev.  Dr. George Walter-Sleyon, from the Center For Church and Prison.     
            


    Saraa Basaria, who is a 3L at Northeastern University School of Law.     
            
    Tina Williams, who has been out on parole since 1994, has a Master's degree in social work and is a widely recognized community activist.   







              
    Wally Holohan, co-director of the Prisoners' Rights Clinic at Northeastern University School of Law.
