TEACH-IN WITH MARSHALL GANZ AT OCCUPY BOSTON

SUNDAY, 10/23, 4-6pm 

DEWEY SQUARE, BOSTON

Marshall Ganz will be leading a teach-in at Occupy Boston this Sunday from 4-6pm on movement building and organizing strategies. Ganz is a lecturer in public policy at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He worked as a civil rights organizer and was on staff of the United Farm Workers for sixteen years before becoming a trainer and organizer for unions, nonprofits, and social movements. He is the author of Why David Sometimes Wins: Leadership, Organization, and Strategy in the California Farm Worker Movement (2009).
