• Create Jobs and Put People Back to Work
• Restore Fairness to the Tax System
• Hands off Social  Security and Health Benefits
• End the wars and cut military spending

14 million are officially unemployed, and President Obama's jobs bill, which is a start but is far too small to solve the problem, was rejected by the Senate.

Ending the Afghanistan and Iraq occupations, rolling back the U.S.' "Occupy Everywhere" foreign policy, and eliminating dangerous new nuclear weapons systems and other military equipment like the Joint Strike Fighter, would save hundreds of billions each year.  Reforming taxes to ask the rich and corporations to pay their fair share would bring in even more.   Then we could create jobs, fix our crumbling infrastructure, and build a green economy to fight climate change.

1500 antiwar protesters had it right  Saturday as they chanted "How do you fix the deficit?  End the wars! Tax the rich!" on their march through downtown Boston.

Remind Senator Kerry that he should follow the wishes of Massachusetts voters in his role on the SuperCommittee.   Join Massachusetts Peace Action, UJP Afghanistan/Pakistan Task Force, Veterans For Peace/Smedley Butler Brigade, and the 25% Coalition as we turn in to his staff cards and petitions with personal messages from hundreds of Massachusetts constituents.
