Existence is Resistance Kuffeya Day at Occupy Boston
<http://www.existenceisresistance.org/archives/1207>
Sunday, November 13 . 12:00pm - 3:00pm
Dewey Square: The Occupation of Boston
On the corner of Summer St. and Atlantic Ave. Across the street from the
Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and South Station.
Boston, Massachusett
In support of Palestinian political prisoners, most significantly Majd
Ziada, EIR (Existence is Resistance) will be hosting a Kuffeya Day at Dewey
Square in Occupy Boston to spread awareness and gather petition signatures
which will later be delivered to Israeli authorities which are scheduled to
release an additional number of prisoners within 2 months.
In solidarity with the people of Palestine, we are asking that on November
13th everyone come to Dewey Square wearing their Kuffeya. EIR will be on
site silk screening shirts for a $2 donation.
Majd has already served 10 years in an Israeli jail and is due to serve
another 20 for speaking out against Israel's occupation of Palestine and
refusing to recognize the Israeli military court that sentenced him. For
more on Majd's story and to sign the petition, please CLICK HERE

Shadia Mansour
Shadia Mansour and members of DAM will speak about Hip Hop and the
Occupation of Palestine after the screening.
Pizza and refreshments after screening.
This film documents a 10-day journey that the artists took through
Palestine, teaching and performing non-violent resistance through the arts.
The tour included M1 of Dead Prez, Shadia Mansour, Marcel Cartier, Mazzi of
S.O.U.L. Purpose, DJ Vega Benetton, Lowkey, .... etc.
The group stayed in the heart of Balata refugee camp at the Yafa Cultural
Center in Nablus. There, they witneeded night raids, toured places like
Hebron where there are separate roads for Arabs and Jews, met families of
Palestinians who have been slain as well as jailed, wounded, and humiliated.
The group visits Bi'lin where they get shot at and teargassed and experience
first-hand what it feels like living under occupation.
