The People's Music Network for Songs of Freedom And Struggle, Inc (PMN) 
invite you, your family, and friends to the 2012 Winter Gathering.

This year we are joining Lawrence MA in the celebration of the 100'th 
anniversary of the Bread and Roses Strike. For more information, please

*What is PMN?*
PMN is a national network of people who use music, dance, storytelling, 
and poetry to promote progressive ideas and transform ourselves and our 
communities through music to bring about a better world.

*Some highlights of the weekend:*
Jamming, networking, impromptu music, sales tables for tapes, CDs, 
songbooks, crafts, instruments. All meals provided from Saturday morning 
breakfast 8:00-9:30 AM through Sunday lunch 12:15-1:30 PM.
Families welcome: Childcare available Saturday and Sunday (except during 
mealtimes and round robin.)

-*Friday 7:30 PM:* Winter Gathering Concert at the Lawrence High School 
Performing Arts Center in Lawrence. The concert will begin at 7:30. 
Admission is included with weekend registration and is open to the 
public. See the concert page for more information.

*-Saturday: *Opening, workshops and song swaps on peace, political 
issues, organizing, performing skills and other topics, community meeting.

*-Saturday Afternoon: *Plenary: “1912: Occupy Lawrence” Charlie King and 
Karen Brandow will present an historical, multi-media show of song, 
video and spoken word about the Bread & Roses strike.

*-Saturday 7 PM - midnight:* Round Robin, An open mic where all 
attending the gathering are invited to share their song (or poem). 
Newcomers and kids are especially welcome to share songs, poetry and 
humor, and special slots are allocated for Energizers. Sing Alongs and 
group performances encouraged.

*-Sunday 9:* Songs of the Spirit, more workshops, Closing After Lunch

*Work Shifts*
All those who come to the PMN weekend are asked to do two one hour work 
shifts to keep our costs down and because we need your help. When you 
arrive, you can sign up for childcare, setup, cleanup, etc.

*What to Bring*
· Musical instruments, songs, tapes, CDs to distribute.
· A sleeping bag for home hospitality.

*What NOT to Bring*
· Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, or pets! (Guide dogs are most 
welcome.)

*PMN Dues*
Registration is open to all members of PMN. Become a member today for a 
sliding scale of $15 to $60 for adults. Children of adult members join 
for free.

*Weekend Costs*
Fees including Saturday and Sunday meals is on a sliding scale, $125-200 
for the weekend including admission to the Friday Night Concert. A 
Friday Night meal is available for an additional $5 at the Concert. See 
the registration page for additional information.

*Transportation*

*PMN Sales Table*
A table will be available for PMN members selling/displaying tapes, song 
books, and CDs. Those selling items at the table are required to help at 
the sales table in addition to other work shifts.
