t3 is offering a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) two-day training January 12 & 13, 2012.  MHFA is a 12-hour training certification course which teaches participants a five-step action plan to assess a situation, select and implement interventions, and secure appropriate care for the individual. The course also introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact, and discusses common treatments.  Location: Worcester State University 486 Chandler Street, Worcester, MA 01602.  Date: Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 & Friday, Jan. 13, 2012 9:00am-5:00pm.
