The Ethical Society of Boston will be presenting a program Feb. 26 at 10:30AM.


THE ETHICS OF CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAW

Susan Remis Silver, Special Assistant to the Public Defender, New Jersey Office of the Public Defender.  What duties does a criminal defense attorney owe to his client? What duties does s/he owe to society?  What does a lawyer do when the two conflict?   Is the lawyer's ethical role to search for the truth , for justice, or for something entirely different?
