The Ethical Society of Boston will be presenting a program, Sunday, April15 at 10:30 AM.



CREATING "DEMOCRATIC COMMON GROUND" IN THE PARKLANDS ALONG THE URBAN CHARLES RIVER


Program Speaker: Renata von Tscharner, Founder and President , The Charles River Conservancy , 19th century landscape architect and visionary Charles Eliot initiated the public acquisition of the shorelines along the Charles to create parks where different social classes could mingel and get respite from urban living.  Building on that legacy, the Charles River Conservancy works to renew this urban jewel and to create more opportunities for community building and healthy living, from swimming to skateboarding, form biking to paddle boarding, from dancing to yoga. 

Program will be at Spiegel Auditorium, 56 Brattle St., Harvard Square.  Program is Free, Public is Welcome.  Music, Coffee, and Discussion to follow program.  For further information call 617-739-9050 or visit BostonEthical.Org
