Dear act-ma members,

I am writing to invite you to attend an upcoming training seminar on the
opportunities presented by the international human rights framework for
advocates working on social justice and equality issues in the United
States.  Topics to be discussed include the regional and international
human rights mechanisms, such as the Inter-American Commission on Human
Rights, as well as strategies for incorporating international norms into
litigation and legislative advocacy where those protections are stronger
than U.S. law.  The training will take place at the Non Profit Center in
Boston on Friday, May 18.

I hope you will be able to join in this training, to hear from leading
practitioners, and share insights from your own important work to protect
the public interest.
