San Francisco-based poet, bookseller, and founder of *Al-Mutanabbi Street
Starts Here*, Beau Beausoleil will read from the anthology and discuss the
project. Other readers include London-based Iraqi filmmaker Maysoon
Pachachi, and project book artists ****

Join London-based Iraqi filmmaker Maysoon Pachachi for a screening and
discussion of her remarkable documentary film *Our Feelings Took the
Pictures: Open Shutters Iraq.* Beau Beausoleil, San Francisco-based poet,
bookseller, and founder of *Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here*, will join
Pachachi in a discussion about the film and the *Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts
Here* project.****

Filmmaker Maysoon Pachachi will discuss the challenges and triumphs of
contemporary filmmaking in Baghdad.  The award-wining short, *A Candle for
the Shabandar Café* (by Emad Ali, student at the ****

Independent Film & Television College co-founded in Baghdad by Ms.
Pachachi) and others will be screened.  Discussion to follow.**
