Other Upcoming Events:

   - *Moms Demand Action Thanksgiving Campaigns*:
We have launched our Thanksgiving campaign! We are asking members to
post and Tweet to Congress either thanking them for having gun sense or
telling them "don't be a turkey" based on their April vote on the
Manchin-Toomey background check bill in the Senate or whether they're
co-sponsoring HR 1565. All of our Massachusetts delegates to Congress can
be thanked, as all of them have shown gun sense! Please use the hashtags
   #Grateful4GunSense and #Don'tBeATurkey.

We have two separate Fast Tweet pages on our website so it's quick and
   easy:

   #Grateful4Gunsense:
   http://action.momsdemandaction.org/page/content/ft_grateful/
   #DontBeATurkey:
   http://action.momsdemandaction.org/page/content/ft_turkey/

We are also partnering with Mayors Against Illegal Guns on a campaign
called "Talking Turkey." It gives us myths vs. facts on gun violence so we
can have informed conversations with relatives over the Thanksgiving dinner
table. We can also easily post these facts on Facebook or Tweet them
through the link. Check it out at:
   http://www.demandaction.org/talkingturkey.
   - *December 13, 2013*: URJ Biennial (for Reform Movement) in San Diego.
Religious Action Center (social justice arm) we are on the program for
Friday Dec. 13 for 90 minutes. Local synagogues have reached out to other
congregations that might be working on this issue to create a national
conversation. Lobby and make progress in other areas (gun manufacturers,
mental health). Bring this issue to the wider faith-based community.
Angus, Janet, Cindy will be there. An opportunity to take the progress we
are making in MA to other parts of the country.
