Refugee Resistance: Rally to Stop Cambodian Raids NOW!
Public · Hosted by Asian American Resource Workshop (AARW) and 2 others

Monday Sept. 30th     11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

     2400 JFK Federal Building
15 Sudbury St., Boston, Massachusetts 02114

We have been alerted that DHS/ICE are planning to roundup Cambodian
community members for deportation on Thursday, October 3rd! Community
members have received notices to check-in on October 3rd at detention
centers across the country where they will face imminent detention and
deportation. The systemic attacks enacted on the Cambodian and broader
Southeast Asian community is nothing new, but have ramped up and become
more aggressive under this current administration.

The Asian American Resource Workshop (AARW) and Asian Outreach Unit at
Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS - AOU) are organizing a rally to
demand a stop of the Cambodian roundups/raids!

Join us on this day to stand in solidarity for the Cambodian community
against deportations, and to call on elected officials and legislators
to take a public stance to support the Southeast Asian community!

If there are any questions or concerns, or folks would like to support
organizing efforts, please contact kevin at aarw.org.

-make calls and emails to the Dept. of Homeland Security and
Massachusetts Congressional members to demand a halt to the raids on
Oct. 3rd:
(feel free to print and share these with your networks to also support
in making calls/emails)
