*Encuentro5 Commemorates and Celebrates International Women Day and 
Sheroes who inspire us/*Conmemora y Celebra el día internacional de la 
mujer y las heroínas que nos inspiran.

Station (Green/Red lines)*

*And next to the Orpheum Theater/*sábado 14 de marzo 7-11pm  9 Hamilton 
Pl. a cruzar de la estación de tren Park Street (líneas verde-roja) y al 
lado del teatro orpheum

The #Me Too movement of the past couple of years in the usna (united 
states of north america) has influenced social reflection and 
examination of this society’s practices of inequities among women and in 
particular women of Color. Globally, similar uprisings are moving 
liberation movements. In the forefront of these struggles, we celebrate 
and respect among other *sheroes  Berta Caceres, Rosa Parks, Bernadette 
Devlin, Lolita **Lebrón**, the Shaheen Baghs, Dolores Huertas, Angela 
Davis, Mother Jones, Assata Shakur, Inez , Winnie Mandela, Celia 
Sanchez  . *We need to salute the tens and thousands of *Sheroes *that 
live and work among us who organize with passion, commitment and who 
make sacrifices and in some cases even give their lives in 
struggle.**Please join us and share your stores, songs, poems and 
experiences about the women and *Sheroes *who inspire us.

El movimiento #Me Too de los últimos años en la usna (estados unidos de 
américa del norte) ha influido en la reflexión social y el examen de las 
prácticas de inequidad de esta sociedad entre las mujeres y, en 
particular, las mujeres de color. A nivel mundial, levantamientos 
similares están moviendo movimientos de liberación. A la vanguardia de 
estas luchas, celebramos y respetamos entre muchas heroínas como Berta 
Cáceres, Rosa Parks, Bernadette Devlin, Shaheen Baghs, Dolores Huertas, 
Angela Davis, Mother Jones, Assata Shakur, Inez, Winnie Mandela... 
Necesitamos saludar a las decenas y miles de heroínas que viven y 
trabajan entre nosotros que organizan con pasión, compromiso y que hacen 
sacrificios y, en algunos casos, incluso dan la vida en lucha. Únase a 
nosotros y comparta sus historias, canciones, poemas y experiencias 
sobre las mujeres y heroínas que nos inspiran.
